Technical Committee on Tunneling (TCT)

ARMA’s Technical Committee on Tunneling (TCT) leads the community of ARMA members interested in tunneling and underground construction in rocks. TCT’s goal is to advance the tunneling field by sharing technical knowledge on new methods, equipment, and materials for construction and support of underground excavations. The objectives of TCT are to organize technical sessions at annual symposium, develop and offer workshops and webinars on tunneling, and collaborate with other committees in professional societies.

  • Create a Technical Community of both current and prospective ARMA members for the purpose of organizing seminar/webinar series.
  • Plan and organize technical sessions, specialty conferences, workshops, and short courses.
  • Solicit, prepare and/or review and edit papers, reports, manuals, and guidelines of practice.
