ARMA Foundation

The American Rock Mechanics Association Foundation (ARMA Foundation) is a tax-exempt charitable sister organization to the American Rock Mechanics Association. The ARMA Foundation’s mission is:

  • to promote the development and application of rock mechanics, rock engineering, and geomechanics worldwide;
  • to bring together individuals from multiple disciplines, who are interested in the application of these fields to problems of societal importance;
  • to support students and young scientists and engineers in launching their careers in rock mechanics, rock engineering, and geomechanics;
  • to disseminate knowledge and information about these disciplines through symposia, workshops, and publications.

The ARMA Foundation accepts donations and administers funded programs that support its mission. Donations to ARMA Foundation are tax-deductible in the U.S.A.
