Technical Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Data (TCAID)

ARMA’s Technical Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Data (TCAID) focuses on connecting professionals who are interested in the applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in rock mechanics and geomechanics in support of civil, petroleum, subsurface storage, mining, and geothermal energy. The goals of TCAID include sharing technical achievements and research in AI and data science, promoting the investigation and use of AI and data science tools to solve problems in rock mechanics, and providing opportunities for scientists, engineers, and students to learn and apply AI and big data tools.
