International Geomechanics Conference

Registration is now open for the International Geomechanics Conference (IGS 2024), which will be hosted by PETRONAS in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in November 2024. IGS 2024 is organized by the American Rock Mechanics Association (ARMA), Dhahran Geoscience Society (DGS), and Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), with partner societies, Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts (SPWLA), China Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering (CSRME), European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE), the Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering Geology (SRMEG) and the Malaysian Oil, Gas and Energy Services Council (MOGSC).

IGS 2024 will bring together leading societies, experts, and thought leaders from around the world for a truly unparalleled geomechanics experience. This year’s conference is set to be a landmark event, highlighting the Role of Geomechanics in Sustainability and Energy Efficiency.
