Membership in ARMA is on an annual basis and includes discounts on ARMA-sponsored events (including the annual US Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium),  membership in the International Society for Rock Mechanics (for individual and lifetime members), subscription to the ARMA newsletter and news notices, and access to discounted materials through OnePetro, the digital library run by SPE.

Individual membership costs $85 per year, student and membership costs $15.00 per year, and lifetime membership costs $1000.

Corporate membership in ARMA open to any company, firm, non-profit organization, university or government laboratory or agency with an interest in rock mechanics and geomechanics. Corporate membership incIudes discounts on ARMA-sponsored events (including the annual US Rock Mechanics/Geomechanics Symposium),  membership in the International Society for Rock Mechanics (for individual and lifetime members), subscription to the ARMA newsletter and news notices, and access to discounted materials through OnePetro, the digital library run by SPE. Corporate membership in ARMA connects you to the broader rock mechanics and geomechanics community, including industry, academia, and government. Joining other corporate members will demonstrate your support for professional practice in rock mechanics and geomechanics. ARMA will recognize your support of and participation in the activities and discussions of ARMA and rock mechanics/ geomechanics.

Corporate membership costs $2,500 per year.

NEW!! The ARMA Foundation, a sister organization to ARMA, is a tax-exempt entity that promotes rock mechanics and rock engineering through educational activities. In  order to provide funds for these activities, the Foundation is pleased to announce a drive to recruit Sustaining Members where your donation (tax deductible, if applicable) will provide educational benefits to those interested and involved with rock mechanics and geomechanics. The Sustaining Fund will help defray the cost of students attending the annual symposium and provide ARMA the ability to better serve its membership.

The annual cost of Sustaining Membership is $250.
